Ambitious Nokia?

When people think of Nokia, they think of a solid phone that could be used to make a phone call after it had been used to knock a wildebeest unconscious. Back in the day the Nokia was the top brand as it was indestructible and very reliable; however it has slid down the market in recent years. In the last few days computer giants Microsoft has been in talks and has purchased Nokia that hopes to create a new relationship of a solid structure phone with an awesome and user friendly operating system that could rival Samsung and iPhone. Nokia’s biggest market is the already highly saturated Chinese market, which has many smartphones from foreign and domestic firms. With a huge population and emerging economy,  Samsung and iPhone are here but there is rivalry from domestic brands such as Huawei, Lenonova, ThL and Zoppo, with the latter two being offered , therefore the international market can also have access to purchase these models.
Nokia believes that China is the place where they can success and reach their goal and possibly reclaim their place on the throne in the phone market. However the Nokia brand has a nostalgia value that people recognize it so for Nokia to shake this reputation it needs to hit the market with something fresh and different with new attractions and features, and this is hopefully where Microsoft comes in. Microsoft have attempted the phone market before but has proven to be unsuccessful so maybe with Nokia they can combine their ideas and create a terrific phone that will surprise the market and swing people towards them, or it could be like other attempts and fail miserably with a few mangers being blamed and sacked. Only time can tell of this combination, just hope it isn’t too late for them
